 iscussion and therapy\, as acclaimed Israeli novelist Yael Hedaya (Eden\, 
 Accidents: A Novel) goes on the couch to talk about her key role in the wr
 iting of the Israeli television series Be-tipul (In Treatment)\, which was
  the basis for the popular HBO show. Hedaya wrote the character Na’Ama Ler
 ner (Laura in the American version)\, the beautiful young woman who tries 
 to seduce her doctor. In a mock therapy session moderated by Chief Curator
  David Schwartz\, Hedaya will discuss the creation and development of In T
 reatment\, the exploration of therapy and relationships in her novels\, st
 ories\, and screenplays\, and the connections between her work and her lif
 e. Her latest novel\, Eden\, which includes a teenage girl named Roni who 
 sleeps with middle-aged men\, has been described as “a psychologically ast
 ute Israeli version of American Beauty.” As part of this special program\,
  a complete episode of Be-tipul will be screened\, followed by the convers
