 y Services\n	\n	\n		Gayatri Devi MD is the Director of the New York Memory
  and Healthy Aging Services and a Clinical Associate Professor at New York
  University School of Medicine. She is a board certified neurologist who h
 as additional board certifications in the areas of Pain Medicine\, Psychia
 try\, and Behavioral Neurology. Dr. Devi has specialized in the early diag
 nosis and treatment of memory disorders related to aging and menopause for
  over twelve years. She serves as an Attending Physician at Lenox Hill Hos
 pital of New York City.\n	\n	\n		Tim Requarth\n		\n		Tim Requarth is an NI
 H National Research Service Award Fellow and PhD candidate in&nbsp\; neuro
 science at Columbia University where he studies sensory processing in elec
 tric fish. His writing has appeared in Scientific American\, Science Magaz
 ine\, The Millions\, and Current Opinion in Neurobiology\, and he is a con
 tributing author to the forthcoming book The Art of Science (Chronicle Boo
 ks\, 2012). He co-directs NeuWrite (www.neuwrite.org)\, a New York-based c
 ollaborative writing group that brings together scientists and writers.\n	
 \n	\n		Gary Stix\n		\n		Gary Stix commissions\, writes\, and edits feature
 s\, news articles and Web blogs for Scientific American. His area of cover
 age is neuroscience. He also has frequently been the issue or section edit
 or for special issues or reports on topics ranging from nanotechnology to 
 obesity. He has worked for nearly 20 years at Scientific American\, follow
 ing three years as a science journalist at IEEE Spectrum\, the flagship pu
 blication for the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers. He ha
 s an undergraduate degree in journalism from New York University. With his
  wife\, he wrote a general primer on technology called Who Gives a Gigabyt
 e?\n	\n	\n		Janna Levin\n		\n		Janna J. Levin is a theoretical cosmologist
 . She holds a PhD in Theoretical Physics from the Massachusetts Institute 
 of Technology granted in 1993 and a Bachelor of Arts in Astronomy and Phys
 ics from Barnard College granted in 1988. Much of her work deals with look
 ing for evidence to support the proposal that our universe might be finite
  in size due to its having a nontrivial topology (as outlined in this arti
 cle). Other work includes black holes and chaos. Since January 2004\, she 
 has been an assistant professor in astronomy and physics at Barnard Colleg
 e.\n	\n	\n	Moderated by Alex Pasternack\n	\n	Alex Pasternack is a freelanc
 e journalist specializing in politics\, culture and the environment. He ha
