 es is a live show and podcast that celebrates music in our everyday lives—
 from the hilarious or heartbreaking stories and memories we forever tie to
  certain songs\, to the debates we have over music’s most famous arguments
 . In conjunction with the exhibition Spectacle: The Music Video\, this spe
 cial edition features writers and performers telling personal stories abou
 t music videos—how one video made a mark on their lives. The event will ho
 ld a magnifying glass up to the influence that videos have had on our cult
 ure by zeroing in on the personal\, specific ways that they have mattered 
 to us. Dana Rossi is the creator and host of The Soundtrack Series\, which
  is regularly presented live at The Gallery at Le Poisson Rouge. Flavorpil
 l has called the series “the best rock and roll storytelling event in New 
 York.” \n	\n\n\n	Speakers \n	\n	Dana Rossi is a writer\, storyteller and t
 he creator of The Soundtrack Series. She has contributed to InDigest\, Sli
 ce\, Time Out NY\, The Retroist and the anthology Madonna &amp\; Me: Women
  Writers on the Queen of Pop. \n\n\n	Ronica Reddick is an actor who is hot
  off the critically acclaimed Silence! The Musical. Her upcoming project\,
  Too Grown: A Musical Web Series\, is about a woman who uses music videos 
 to solve problems in her love life. \n\n\n	Dan Charnas is the author of Th
 e Big Payback: The History of the Business of Hip Hop. He is considered to
  have played a role in the creation of hip hop journalism\, and was one of
  the original writers for The Source. \n\n\n	Maura Johnston is a music and
  pop culture journalist who has contributed to The New York Times\, NPR\, 
 Spin\, WNYC\, WBUR and Rolling Stone\, to name a few. She was one of the f
 ounding editors of Gawker's Idolator\, and is the founder of MAURA MAGAZIN
 E. \n\n\n	Peter Aguero is a recent TEDMED speaker\, as well as a Moth Stor
 ySlam host and GrandSlam winner. He is the host of the BTK Band\, an under
 ground show that features stories backed by a live band. \n\n\n	Zachary Li
 pez was the lead singer for Freshkills. He writes the Adult Problems colum
 n for Noisey/VICE and his most recent book (with Nick Zinner and Stacey Wa
 kefield) is Please Take Me Off the Guest List. \n\nPlease note: Hip-hop ar
