 cinematic adaptation of the 2012 play directed by Nandita Das.&nbsp\;Set i
 n contemporary India where educated and affluent couples are caught betwee
 n modernity and tradition\, the film explores the relationship between a h
 usband and wife who are both lawyers who have been married for ten years. 
 They end up arguing on opposite sides of a criminal trial\, resulting in t
 he blurring of their personal and professional lives. The battle in the co
 urt starts to impact their relationship at home\, and they struggle to fin
 d a new balance. &nbsp\; \n	\n	\n	Nandita Das has acted in more than 40 fe
 ature films (including Earth\, Fire\, Before the Rains) in ten different l
 anguages. She made her directorial debut with Firaaq in 2008 and Between t
 he Lines marks her debut as a playwright and theater director. She is a ma
 jor advocate for issues of social justice and human rights. In 2011\, Nand
 ita Das was the first Indian to be inducted into the Hall of Fame of the I
 nternational Women’s Forum. Currently she is at Yale as a World Fellow. \n
 \n\n	Suketu Mehta is the New York-based author of the award winning Maximu
 m City: Bombay Lost and Found. Mehta’s work has been published in The New 
 Yorker\, The New York Times Magazine\, National Geographic\, Time\, and Ne
 wsweek. He has written original screenplays for films\, including New York
 \, I Love You. He is currently working on a nonfiction book about immigran
 ts in contemporary New York. Mehta is an Associate Professor of Journalism
  at New York University. \n	\n\n\n	CinePlay is a new genre of cinema\, ins
 pired by stories from theater. It creates a new viewing experience for aud
 iences and expands the reach of the rich stories contained in theater. Cin
 ePlay allows stories from theater to break the constraints of economics\, 
 geography\, language and accessibility. It archives iconic plays\, allowin
 g for generations to experience unforgettable stories and performances.&nb
