DESCRIPTION:\n	Dir. Delbert Mann. 1964\, 114 mins. 35mm print courtesy of t
he Packard Humanities Institute Collection at the UCLA Film &amp\; Televis
ion Archive. With Glenn Ford\, Geraldine Page\, Angela Lansbury. \n\n\n	St
umbling upon this film gave me the impetus to finally write the pilot. I w
as taken by this mainstream Hollywood film that reflected a very casual at
titude towards sex\, something that seemed uncharacteristic to my preconce
ptions of the era. With its glib bachelor hero and dowdy\, conservative in
génue\, it tells a tale of moral corruption and heartbreaking duplicity in
the form of a light comedy. As Glenn Ford tries to change his ways and ta
ke responsibility for his meaningless romances in glamorous Manhattan\, I
found a jumping-off point for the series. −Matthew Weiner \n\n\n	Tickets:
$12 ($9 for senior citizens and students / free for members at the Film Lo
ver level and above). Order tickets online. (Members may also email reserv
 ations@movingimage.us)&nbsp\; \n\n\n	All tickets include same-day admissio
n to the Museum (see gallery hours). View the Museum’s ticketing policy he
