 t bridge the arts and sciences. Since 2011\, Museum of the Moving Image ha
 s been the venue for the Festival’s film events. This year\, the Museum an
 d Festival will co-present a special preview screening of The Stanford Pri
 son Experiment (Dir. Kyle Patrick Alvarez. 2015\, 122 mins.)\, a standout 
 from this year’s Sundance Film Festival\, based on Dr. Philip Zimbardo’s l
 andmark 1971 study on the psychology of imprisonment\, in which a group of
  male undergraduates were randomly assigned to be either a guard or prison
 er in a simulated jail. The screening will be followed by a conversation w
 ith filmmaker Kyle Patrick Alvarez\, social psychologist Christina Maslach
 \, anthropologist Scott Atran\, and science and medical writer Dean A. Hay
 cock. The conversation will be moderated by Jeffrey Toobin\, writer and le
 gal analyst. \n\n\n	The Stanford Prison Experiment is the winner of the 20
 15 Alfred P. Sloan Feature Film Prize at the Sundance Film Festival. Visit
