 re Bismuth has the distinction of being one of the few visual artists who 
 has won an Academy Award. He shared the Oscar with Michel Gondry and Charl
 ie Kaufman for Best Screenplay for The Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mi
 nd (2004). Bismuth's work often humorously alters objects from popular cul
 ture\, so it is fitting that he will introduce Be Kind Rewind\, Michel Gon
 dry’s comedy in which two video-shop owners create their own no-budget “sw
 eded” remakes of Hollywood movies. The screening will be followed by a con
 versation with Bismuth and Robert M. Rubin\, curator of the exhibition Wal
 kers: Hollywood Afterlives in Art and Artifact. \n\n\n	Tickets: $12 ($9 fo
