 here was the groundbreaking Sissyfight (1999\, web). Equal parts chat room
 \, multi-player rock-paper-scissors\, and Lord of the Flies\, Sissyfight i
 s set in a schoolyard where schoolgirls compete to eliminate the self-este
 em of other players. The original development team recently re-made the ga
 me\, and this event serves as its official launch. Frank Lantz is the Dire
 ctor of the NYU Game Center and respected game designer and theorist with 
 deep roots in the NYC game community. Over the last 20 years\, he has been
  part of many of the touchstones of the NYC game community\, including Are
 a/Code\, Gamelab\, R/GA Interactive\, NYU’s ITP\, Parsons’ MFADT. \n\n\n	h
