 laboration on a short avant-garde film (simply titled Film) between Buster
  Keaton and Samuel Beckett was an artistic pairing that was as fitting as 
 it was improbable. Beckett\, best known for his classic play Waiting For G
 odot\, and Keaton\, who was in his waning years\, were great artists who s
 hared a certain deadpan existential sensibility. Archivist/filmmaker Ross 
 Lipman’s Notfilm is an astonishing\, treasure-filled\, and thought-provoki
 ng documentary essay\, the result of seven years of research that uncovere
 d rare audio recordings of Beckett\, cinematographer Boris Kaufman\, and f
 ootage of unrealized sections of the film. This special event will include
  a recently restored screening of the Beckett film\, and an introduction b
 y Lipman followed by a screening of Notfilm. \n\n\n\nTickets: $12 (Free fo
