 aying video games—to school\, where he tries to engage with other kids and
  tentatively begins to court a girl. Billy says\, 'I know I'm unique. I do
 n't let it go to my head though. [I'm] just someone who was born different
  from others.' Funny and touching\, candid and stylized\, Billy the Kid is
  a film as singular as its subject. Winner of the Cinema Eye Honors award
