 ody revenge. Soon\, the two are drawn into a curious\, thrilling game that
  may spiral out of control. The legendary French actress Isabelle Huppert 
 gives one of her greatest performances as Michèle\, a woman she describes 
 as “cynical\, generous\, endearing\, cold\, commendable\, independent\, de
 pendent\, perspicacious. She is anything but sentimental\; she is pummeled
  by events\, but she doesn’t crack.” Huppert\, who will receive the Best A
 ctress Award from the New York Film Critics Circle the night before this s
 creening\, will participate in a conversation with Chief Curator David Sch
