 style of the 1970s\, but in recent years he has settled for a more seclude
 d and modest lifestyle in a rundown\, two-room apartment in the outskirts 
 of Salzburg. Moody\, mercurial\, and performative to his core\, Berger las
 hes out against but also ravenously consumes the attention of Horvath\, hi
 s patient but not entirely silent witness. “Maybe the best motion picture 
 of the year is also the worst? The rules of documentary access are permane
