 ck Prelinger’s “Lost Landscapes” project on the Motor City\, meditates on 
 the past and future of Detroit and its many communities. Combining home mo
 vies\, newsreels\, industrial films\, and miscellaneous footage showing De
 troit’s urban fabric\, its residents\, their work and leisure\, and their 
 celebrations\, this “city-symphony”-like film pictures the Motor City's wh
 ite and African American communities during periods of boom and bust. Audi
 ence members are invited to speak during the screening—to identify people\
 , places and events\, to ask questions\, and to join one another in contem
 plating and commenting on America’s great industrial city. \n\n\nTickets:
