 g’s wildly inventive\, genre-bending film offers a “remarkable meditation 
 on love\, death\, mortality\, and Jewish guilt” (San Francisco Chronicle) 
 and makes use of cardboard cutouts crafted from old photographs and featur
 es playful skits that bring to life the director’s own memories of her gra
 ndmother. When the film premiered at the Sundance Film Festival in 1991\, 
 Amy Taubin\, writing for the Village Voice\, described the reactions: 'Tha
 nk You and Good Night choked up the self-consciously hip professional audi
 ence. Total strangers hung around the lobby long after the screening\, sha
 ring intensely personal anecdotes about death and dying.” \n	\n	\n	Thank Y
 ou and Good Night is the latest 4K restoration by IndieCollect\, a non-pro
 fit organization that saves and restores American independent films so the
 y can be seen in state-of-the-art digital formats. As part of its Queer Ci
 nema Initiative\, it will be restoring all the films of Jan Oxenberg. Indi
 eCollect's Queer Cinema Initiative is supported by Gerald Herman and other
  donors. Its Film Restoration Initiative is supported in part with funds f
 rom the Just Film / Ford Foundation\, Weissman Family Foundation\, and by 
 Amazon Studios. The restoration of Thank You and Good Night has also recei
 ved support from the Ravenal Foundation. \n	\n	\n	Tickets: $15 ($11 senior
 s and students / $7 youth (ages 3–17) / free for children under 3 and Muse
