 g stars John Malkovich and Glenn Close making exquisite music from Christo
 pher Hampton’s script. “A first-rate piece of work by a director who’s dar
 ing and agile\,” raved Pauline Kael in The New Yorker. “It’s heaven—alive 
 in a way that movies rarely are.” Nominated for seven Academy Awards\, the
  film won three (Best Screenplay\, Costume\, Production Design). \n\n\n	Ti
