 s and selects the beasts. Experimenting with an open marriage\, their rela
 tionship starts to crumble when Ester begins an affair with an American ho
 rsebreaker and Juan is unable to control his jealousy. Reygadas and his re
 al-life partner\, film editor Natalia López\, play the couple in crisis\,
